Men's Soccer Comes Up Short Against Regis (Mass.)

NASHUA, N.H. -  The Rivier men's soccer team came up short in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) matchup against Regis (Mass.)  on Tuesday night at Joanne Merrill Field. 

With the loss, the Raiders dropped to 1-4-3 (1-2-1 GNAC), while the Pride improved to 2-5-1 (2-1 GNAC).

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The first half concluded scoreless despite equal opportunities by each squad. 
  • The Pride broke through in the 54th minute to take the 1-0 lead. 
  • The Raiders had a handful of chances to equalize but were unable to convert.
BOXSCORE BRAKDOWN
  • Both sides tallied ten shots. 
  • Regis held the edge on corners, 6-2.
  • Logan Clough recorded four saves in net.
