WINTHROP, Mass. – Sophomore goalkeeper Jake Lydon has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalkeeper of the Week for the first time in his career, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Lydon turned aside 20 of the 25 shots he faced in Saturday's 8–5 win over non-conference, intrastate foe Plymouth St. at Joanne Merrill Field. The Rowley, Mass. native's 20-save outing marked the program's highest single-game total since the 2023 season.

Lydon and the Rivier men's lacrosse team return to action Saturday, Feb. 28 for a non-conference matchup with Curry. The opening face-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Joanne Merrill Field.
