NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier baseball team dropped game one in extra innings, 6–3, before bouncing back to shut out Dean, 4–0, in game two of a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Harvey Woods.
With the result, the Raiders moved to 13-20 (6-12 GNAC), while the Bulldogs moved to 20-14 (11-9 GNAC).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bulldogs came out swinging, plating two runs in the first inning on a clutch two-RBI single.
- The Raiders answered right back in the bottom of the first, evening things up at 2–2. Junior Sebastien Reis ripped a single to left-center to bring home Colton Colleran, and senior Dylan Aliberti followed with a sacrifice fly that sent Liam Stott across the plate.
- Dean grabbed the lead again in the seventh, but the Raiders refused to back down. In the bottom half, Aliberti worked a bases-loaded walk to force in Colleran and send the game into extra innings.
- After a scoreless eighth, the Bulldogs exploded in the ninth for three runs and slammed the door on the Raiders to secure an exciting 6–3 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders opened the game hot, scoring three unanswered runs in the first inning. Colleran capitalized on a wild pitch to get things started. Reis followed with an RBI double to right field to bring home junior Nathan Innerfield, and sophomore David Miller added an RBI single to score Reis.
- Rivier extended their lead by one in the third by way of a Reis RBI single to left field, scoring Innerfield.
BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN
- Junior Chris Volino tossed a complete game, earning his fifth win of the year with five strikeouts.
- Colleran went 4-of-4 with one run scored.
- Innerfield went 1-of-3, drawing a walk while crossing the plate twice.
- Reis went 2-for-3 with a double, one run scored, and two RBI.
