WINTHROP, Mass. – Rivier University placed 92 student-athletes on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Academic All-Conference Team, recognizing their dedication and excellence in the classroom.
The men's lacrosse program led the way with 17 honorees, followed by women's soccer (15) and baseball (13). Men's soccer added 10 selections, while women's volleyball earned eight and women's lacrosse had seven. Softball placed six student-athletes on the team, followed by men's volleyball (5), women's basketball (4), field hockey (3), and men's basketball (2). Two multi-sport student-athletes also received Academic All-Conference recognition.
All student-athletes with sophomore academic status or above with a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher were awarded.
