WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced its 2025 All-Conference selections, naming sophomores
Alejandro Quezada and
Luiggi Ferreira to the First Team, junior goalkeeper
Logan Clough to the Second Team, and sophomore
Matthews Ferreira to the Third Team.
Quezada started in all 21 games and led the Raiders with 15 points on six goals and three assists, setting new career highs in both categories. The Guadalajara, Mexico, native delivered four game-winning goals, including the decisive penalty kick against Norwich on Nov. 4 that sent Rivier to its first GNAC Championship appearance since 1997.
Luiggi Ferreira started in 18 of 19 games, matching his offensive output from his rookie season with two goals and one assist for five points. The Lowell, Mass., native anchored the Raider defense, helping the team post seven shutouts and allowing just 23 goals all season, the third fewest in the conference, with only 12 coming in GNAC play.
Clough started in all 19 games he appeared in, earning a 9-5-5 record in net during a standout junior campaign. The Hillsborough, N.H., native recorded a 0.99 goals-against average, a .791 save percentage, 68 saves, and just 18 goals allowed, all ranking among the top five in the GNAC. His goals-against average ranked second in the conference, while his save percentage stood fourth.
Matthews Ferreira appeared in 17 games, making 10 starts for the Raiders. The Nashua, N.H., native tallied one goal and three assists for five points, playing a key role in creating scoring opportunities and generating offensive movement throughout the season.
