Jake Lydon and first-year attack
Conor Walsh were named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalie and Rookie of the Week, respectively, after helping the Raiders remain perfect at 9-0 (5-0 GNAC) during a two-game week in GNAC play.
Lydon was strong in net, totaling 21 saves while allowing just four goals for a .741 save percentage. He opened the week with five saves in the first half of a 23-3 win over Regis (Mass.). The Rowley, Mass. native added 15 more saves while surrendering just five goals, and scored his first collegiate goal with a coast-to-coast run in Saturday's 10-5 victory over Lasell, a rematch of the 2025 championship game. After this week, Lydon now leads the NCAA in goals-against 3.60, and goals allowed at only 24.
Walsh turned in a big week, totaling nine points on five goals and four assists across two conference wins. The Amesbury, Mass. native broke out with three goals and four assists in a 23-3 win over Regis (Mass.), then added two more goals on perfect shooting in Saturday's 10-5 victory over Lasell.
Walsh, Lydon, and the Raiders return to action on Monday, March 30, hitting the road for a GNAC matchup at Mitchell. Opening face-off is set for 3:30 p.m. at Alumni Field.
