WINTHROP, Mass. – Rivier men's lacrosse's first-year midfielder Henri Brochu has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Brochu recorded four points on two goals and two assists in his first collegiate start in Saturday afternoon's 16-9 win over GNAC opponent Dean. The Concord, N.H. natives first collegiate point and goal came at the same time, finding twin at the 13:40 mark in the second quarter with a helper from sophomore James DelPrete.

Brochu and the Rivier men's lacrosse team travel to Castleton, Vt. for a non-conference bout with VTSU-Castleton. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Dave Wolk Stadium.
