WINTHROP, Mass. – Rivier men's lacrosse first-year attacker Conor Walsh has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for the third time this season, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Walsh posted six points on five goals and one assist in the GNAC Quarterfinals, leading the Raiders to a 15-4 victory over Regis (Mass.) on Saturday, April 25. The Amesbury, Mass., native recorded an 85.7 shots-on-goal percentage, scoring five times on six shots on goal.

Walsh and the Raiders return to action on Wednesday, April 29, when they host fifth-seeded Norwich. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Joanne Merrill Field.
