WINTHROP, Mass. – Rivier men's lacrosse first-year attacker Conor Walsh was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Walsh totaled eight points on five goals and three assists during the Raiders' 2-0 week, shooting 76.9 percent while also causing a turnover. The Amesbury, Mass. native opened the week with two goals and two assists in a 28-1 victory over Mitchell. He followed with a four-point effort (3-1-4), highlighted by the overtime game-winning goal in a win against Norwich.

Walsh and the Rivier men's lacrosse team return to action on Wednesday, April 8, hosting New England College in a GNAC and intrastate matchup. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Don Melander Field.
