WINTHROP, Mass. – Five members of the Rivier baseball team collected All-Conference accolades from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), which were announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Righthanded closing pitcher Ty Baker was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) First Team following a stellar junior season. Baker led the GNAC with seven saves, the most in a single-season in his career, which ranks 18th in the nation at the time of publication. Baker's 13 career saves are now the most in program history. The Hudson, N.H. native was dominant out of the bullpen, allowing just 10 hits over 22.1 innings pitched. He struck out 17 batters and surrendered only two earned runs all season. Baker also ranked among the conference's best with a 0.81 ERA, a 0.67 WHIP, and a 6.85 K/9. Back on April 28, Baker logged 6.2 innings of relief in his only win of the season, a 6-5 walk-off conference win over Colby-Sawyer at Harvey Woods Field.
Senior starting pitcher Nate Bonacorsi earned Third Team honors for his efforts on the mound. Bonacorsi emerged as the ace of the Raiders' staff in 2024, leading the team with nine starts and 47.2 innings pitched. He recorded a 3.97 ERA, ranking ninth in the GNAC, and a 1.49 WHIP, which placed 15th in the conference. Bonacorsi struck out 42 batters to reach the 100 career strikeout plateau, and walked 17, averaging 7.93 strikeouts per nine innings, the 13th-best mark in the league. He held opponents to a .278 batting average and allowed just 21 earned runs on the year. Bonacorsi capped his career by eclipsing 100 career strikeouts.
Senior infielder Kyle Hsu received a Third Team nod as a consistent presence in the Raiders' infield and lineup. Hsu started 25 of 26 games played this season. The veteran infielder hit .267 with a .322 on-base percentage and a .398 slugging percentage, finishing with 24 hits, including two doubles and a home run. He drove in 10 runs, scored 21, and drew 18 walks. Hsu led the Raiders in stolen bases with 12, ranking 9th in the GNAC in the category. He also reached the 100-career hit milestone in his final season.
Junior outfielder Nathan Innerfield earned Third Team recognition after leading the Raiders in hits, batting average, and doubles during the 2025 season. Innerfield started 33 of the team's 34 games and finished with a team-leading .371 batting average, which ranked 10th in the GNAC. He accumulated 39 hits, including 10 doubles and two home runs, and drove in 24 runs. Additionally, he scored 21 runs and posted a .524 slugging percentage and a .444 on-base percentage.
Senior designated hitter JD Normand rounded out the Third Team honorees. Normand started 31 of 32 appearances, finishing with a .293 batting average and an .818 OPS. He tallied 34 hits, including nine doubles and four home runs, driving in 25 runs while scoring 19. Normand posted a .474 slugging percentage and a .344 on-base percentage as he amassed the 100-career hit milestone.
