NASHUA, N.H. – Rivier University's head baseball coach, Jimmy Smith, has named assistant coach Kyle Hsu '25, the program's Recruiting Coordinator.

Hsu is entering his second year as an assistant coach and first in his new role in the 2026-27 academic year.

After graduating from Rivier in 2025, Hsu joined the staff as an assistant coach in 2026, helping develop and grow student-athletes as well work alongside Smith on the recruiting trail.

"Kyle has been an invaluable addition to our coaching staff," said Smith. "Early in his coaching career he has demonstrated an exceptional ability to recruit and develop student-athletes at a high level. We are fortunate to have him on our staff and look forward to his continued impact on our program"

Hsu appeared in 53 games in his two years with the Raiders as a student-athlete. He slashed a .283 / .396 / .416, with 53 hits, 26 RBI, 31 walks, and 19 stolen bases. In the field, he ended his career with a .975 fielding percentage in 179 putouts and 51 assists.
