WINTHROP, Mass. - Sophomore midfielder David Pereira has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week following a stellar performance last week, totaling four points on two goals.
In Wednesday's 4-1 victory over Lasell, Pereira tallied five total shots (three SOG) and capitalized on two of them, including the game winner. The Nashua, N.H. native recorded a shot on goal percentage of 0.600, leading the team to their first conference win of the season.
Pereira and the Raiders return to action tonight, Monday, Sept. 28th for another GNAC tilt as they host the Saints of Emmanuel College. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. at Joanne Merrill Field.
